Organic Loofah

These beautiful handmade products are the result of fifteen pioneering women in a small community in Paraguay, South America, who perfected the cultivation of a soft high quality loofah fruit in their own backyards – free from chemical bleaching and pesticides. These mujeres campesinas (women in the Countryside) started a cooperative that today includes over 300 participating families in the growth and production of organic handmade loofah products.

2N1 Eco Totes

These beautiful handmade products are the result of twenty seven women in the village of Nemby, Paraguay, who decided to change their lives. With the help of a local non-profit organization these women formed a cooperative of seamstresses called Villa Leticia and started their own business. For many of these women this was their first chance of finding a source of income outside of the home, helping them to provide food, health care and education for their families. Now with the proper equipment and support, they are producing clothing and accessories, and have started a training program to empower young women in their community to follow their footsteps.
